Choristers

Broughton Choristers enjoy…

  • Performing good music to consistently high standards.
  • Working and playing together on their annual week-long holiday course in the Isle of Man.
  • Singing in some of the countries finest churches and cathedrals.
  • Music free fun days.
  • The summer tour to France

…and many lifelong friendships are forged as they sing, travel and play together.

We are proud of our choristers; we think they are very impressive young people…but don’t just take our word for it!

Leading musicians, both locally and nationally have expressed their delight on hearing them.

Broughton Head Choristers, Maxwell and James

We are proud of our choir gentlemen also!  Amongst the twenty singers we have engineers, teachers, a judge, students, accountants, retail managers all of whom make time to lead the worship in our parish church.

In addition to having opportunities to sing some of the finest Anglican choral music each week at Broughton and at other local churches and cathedrals, our gentlemen choristers enjoy a variety of social outings and events including curry nights, dinners and car treasure hunts!

Although welcome, previous choral experience is not necessary. If you are interested in singing with the choir as a countertenor, tenor or bass, please email broughtonchurchchoir@gmail.com for further information.
