Although boys can audition for the choir at any time of year, September and October have always been the most popular months, as boys seek to get places as soon as possible after the Summer break. Successful candidates become ‘waiting boys’ and are invited to take part in all the social activities as well as joining in occasional practices with the senior choristers.
No previous musical experience is necessary. We are looking for boys:
Who show potential,
Who are reasonably intelligent,
Who are not afraid of a bit of hard work,
Who will enjoy the fun and competitive spirit of life in the choir,
Who will eventually be good ambassadors on the choir tours both in this country and overseas.
